Web Shop for Belgrade Teams: COD and Courier Reality

A web shop for Belgrade teams is not a moodboard with a cart plugin. Belgrade retail already lives on Instagram, Viber, and a courier the owner knows by first name. The shop is only worth building when checkout survives cash on delivery, weekend stock changes, and a guest who pays between two meetings.

CodeLoop Studio builds that store from Sarajevo. Belgrade is a market we ship for. Kickoff is online or at our studio. We will visit a warehouse if that is the only way to see how parcels leave — that visit is not a listed Belgrade address. The product page is ecommerce website development.

What Belgrade checkout actually has to survive

Cash on delivery is still how a lot of first orders happen. If delivery cost appears after card entry, or “cash on delivery” is a checkbox with no zone table, the guest bails — or the owner spends the evening confirming orders by phone, which is the process you already have.

Couriers cut off mid-afternoon. Apartment delivery is not the same as a business park. Dinar versus euro on the product card confuses people if you mix them without a rule. None of that is a Friday plugin. It is the brief. If you only need a catalogue and a form, that is a website, not a shop.

What we freeze for a Belgrade-facing store

  • Zones before palette. City, suburbs, rest of Serbia, and “we do not ship there.” A guest should see cost before they type a card. Cash on delivery needs the same honesty.

  • Sold-out on Saturday. The owner hides a SKU without us. Weekend Instagram traffic is useless if the admin cannot keep up with what just left the shelf.

  • Language of the catalogue. Serbian copy, Latin or Cyrillic as you sell, not a translated theme that still says “shipping” in English at pay.

  • You keep the accounts. Domain, hosting, payment, Search Console. We do not lock the shop in a studio login.

This is not a Zagreb shop with the city renamed

Zagreb checkout is EU cards, Croatian invoices, and a sales link that has to finish the same afternoon it hits Slack. Belgrade checkout is cash on delivery, courier first names, and stock that moves on Instagram over the weekend. Same studio, different rules. The Zagreb note is web shop for Zagreb teams.

We do not invent Belgrade clients or a storefront metric. DigitalPlay is a shop we built — catalogue and owner-run admin — not a Serbian case we fabricated. How we sequence SKUs to first order is how we build a web shop.

Where the studio sits

In Sarajevo. Remote is how most sprints run, including for teams in Serbia. If procurement needs a Serbian company number and a listed Belgrade mailbox, say so on the first mail — we are not that vendor. CET overlap still holds. We do not cloak an H1 to pretend we are local.

Send SKU count, how you take money today, and how parcels leave. We reply within 24 hours via the online estimate or contact.
