Health & nutrition
Health and nutrition mobile apps people can follow daily
A health and nutrition mobile app fails if it is a pretty food diary that nobody opens after week two. Users need a protocol they can actually follow, a place to log the day, and a way for the care team to see progress. CodeLoop Studio shipped LipoDIETA as a full ecosystem: Flutter app, marketing site, and dashboard for recovery-focused diet therapy.
Case study
LipoDIETA
A shipped health product: Flutter app for daily protocol and tracking, Next.js marketing site, web admin for progress and support. Recovery-focused diet therapy — not a calorie ring that dies in week two.
A protocol people can follow. Not a pretty diary they abandon.
A health and nutrition mobile app fails if nobody opens it after week two. Users need a protocol they can actually follow, a place to log the day, and a way for the care team to see progress. CodeLoop Studio in Sarajevo shipped LipoDIETA as a full ecosystem: Flutter app, marketing site, and dashboard. We are a software studio, not a clinic. We implement the workflow your clinicians already own. You own the care model.
Off-the-shelf fitness software will fight you if your protocol has phases, contraindications, or a coach in the loop. Meal planning, grocery companions, and recovery programmes are in the same family — we start from your protocol, not a clone of another brand. Store review is extra scrutiny for health-adjacent apps. Privacy labels, authentication, and what appears in screenshots are planned before you submit.
The mobile engagement without a clinical story is custom mobile app development. The public web and admin stack is Next.js website development. Typical studio timelines are 3–9 months idea to launch; a focused nutrition MVP (one protocol, one role) can be shorter. Estimate within 24 hours via the online estimate.
We engineer the workflow. You own the care model.
LipoDIETA is a post-liposuction recovery product: structured phases, tracked data, and guidance that matches a medical protocol. We shipped the Flutter app, the Next.js marketing site, and the dashboard the care team uses. That split is the brief for any health or nutrition product we will take: you bring phases, contraindications, and what never appears in a screenshot. We bring accounts, daily check-ins, progress charts, store listings, and privacy labels planned before submit. We do not provide medical advice. We will not reskin LipoDIETA with a new logo and call it your protocol.
Health-adjacent apps get extra App Store and Play scrutiny. Claims in screenshots are a launch-plan item, not a Friday surprise. Authentication and what the public site says must stay aligned with in-app copy — that is why many programmes need all three surfaces from one studio. A narrow MVP (one protocol, one role) can sit toward the short end of the 3–9 month band. Multi-role coaching with payments sits toward the long end.
Clinics, diet programmes, and health startups that already have a method — not a white-label calorie template — are the usual buyer. Off-the-shelf fitness software will fight phases and a coach in the loop. Meal planning, grocery companions, and recovery programmes are in the same family. Send the protocol outline, not a moodboard of rings. Studio in Sarajevo. Remote by default. We overlap CET and, when needed, Eastern mornings. Store accounts stay yours. After launch we can stay for OS updates and the next protocol version — we do not hand over a health app and vanish.
Surfaces a real programme actually needs
Patient app
Flutter on iOS and Android. Daily protocol, check-ins, progress. The same UX on both stores so the care team is not supporting two products.
Marketing site
Next.js. Explain the programme and convert. Store listing, landing page, and in-app copy stay aligned.
Care dashboard
Coaches and clinicians need a view, not only a mobile screenshot. Progress and support workflows.
Phases you define
Rules, contraindications, what never goes in a screenshot. We do not force a consumer calorie template.
Privacy and claims
Health copy is a launch-plan item. App Store and Play scrutiny is not a surprise week.
You own the protocol
We engineer around it. We do not provide medical advice. LipoDIETA’s protocols belong to the clinical product.
From protocol to both stores
- 01
Freeze the clinical workflow
What the user must log, what the dashboard must show, what never goes in a screenshot. Then UX.
- 02
Flutter for both stores
One squad, consistent phone experience. Native only if a device API forces it.
- 03
Next.js for site and admin
Public surface plus the care team’s tools. Same studio so the three surfaces do not drift.
- 04
QA on real devices, then review
Privacy labels and claims in the plan. Then v1.1 if the protocol holds in the wild.
What we will not put in a health app brief
Medical advice from the studio
You bring the protocol. We bring the software. That split is non-negotiable.
A clone of LipoDIETA with a new logo
Your phases and contraindications. The case study shows the class of product, not a template to reskin.
Screenshots that imply a claim you cannot defend
We plan store review before submit. Send the protocol outline through the estimate form.
