Units, species, class, and piece IDs have to survive mud, cold, and no signal. A board table wants thickness, width, length, a keypad you can hit with gloves, and a packing list the office can open in Excel without retyping. A stem wants diameter, length, species, class, and cubing that still works when the tower is gone. We shipped both as LumberMeter and TimberMeter under eWoodMeter — two licensed field apps, one Flutter family, shared license and unit settings. We did not fake a single “wood calculator” that lies about both jobs. Equipment vendors write when a measuring tool still dumps into paper. Closed Bluetooth is calendar.
