# Hotel Websites: Rooms and a Direct Path, Not a Booking Clone

A hotel website is rooms, how to get there, languages guests actually type, and a request that reaches reception. It is not a second Booking.com with your logo pasted on. The OTA can stay. This channel is the one without a commission on every night — if reception answers it.

## What a guest on 4G needs before a mountain poem

Search is “hotel” plus town, “apartment” plus dates, often in English or German. The page needs a honest “from” price or a clear next step, room photos that are not 4MB, parking, reception hours out of season. A brochure about the range is decoration. A clone of the OTA listing is a waste — you already paid for that inventory elsewhere.
